Equipment Deployment

SERVS Deployment Plan (ICS 204s) (733 kbs pdf new as of 28-Jul-04)
The overall plan for the equipment deployment is as follows:
- Jack Bay shoreline protection deployment without shoreline impacts (500-2 & 8 F/Vs),
- Near-shore Free Oil Task Force (4 F/Vs, 2 mini-barges, & 1 skimmer),
- TransRec Task Force (Tactic 0-1) in vicinity of Jack Bay (Barge, Tug, & 4 F/Vs),
- Tanker containment in Jack Bay (Tug & 500-2 - tug will deploy its boom in a containment
tactic for the 500-2. Booming is not intended to completely encircle the vessel.
Tug's skimmer will also be deployed),
- CGC Sycamore as VIP/Observer platform,
- CG active duty and auxiliary vessel involvement for safety/security zone enforcement.
